A B2B SaaS marketplace platform
A B2B SaaS marketplace platform now gets cited by AI search
A well-reviewed platform for building multivendor marketplaces was missing from ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity answers for the questions its buyers ask. Our digital growth team rebuilt its content for AI citation, and it is now named in answers for most of the queries that matter.

Challenge
The product was strong and well rated on review sites, and founders building marketplaces were already buying it. Search behaviour, though, had shifted. More buyers were starting their research by asking an AI assistant which tool to use.
When the team tested the category's obvious questions in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, the platform did not appear. Rivals with weaker products did. A large share of first conversations was happening without it.
Solution
Ranking a page and being quoted in an AI answer are different goals. The team planned content around the second: each guide was written to be the clearest answer to one question a founder would ask.
Each guide answered its main question in the opening lines, then backed the answer with steps, tables and examples. That structure makes a page easy for an assistant to read and quote, and it also helps human readers who want the answer first.
- An AI visibility audit and baseline across the main assistants
- 23 long-form guides built around questions, with clean headings and tables
- Structured data for FAQs, how-to steps, articles and the product
- Short question-and-answer blocks that an assistant can quote directly
- Comparison pages for buyers weighing alternatives
- An internal linking structure that groups guides by topic
Results
The platform is now cited for 12 of the 18 target queries, and organic leads grew four times within five months. The founders also began hearing from new customers that an AI assistant had pointed them to the product, which had not happened before.
