Mei Reco™
Guided Recovery

Mei Reco is a limb-worn motion sensor that guides orthopaedic patients through prescribed exercise at home, the way a physiotherapist would. It enters clinical trials in November 2026, and a provisional patent filing is prepared.
Mei Reco
A Physiotherapist’s Guidance, at Home
A compact, rechargeable motion sensor worn on the limb coaches orthopaedic patients through the exercise their doctor prescribed, and checks that every repetition is done the right way.

What is Mei Reco?
Mei Reco is a guided home-rehabilitation device from Lenor Ventures: a motion sensor worn on the limb that coaches orthopaedic patients through prescribed exercise. Doctors set safe range-of-motion limits in a clinician portal and follow adherence week by week.
How a Home Session Works
The Doctor Sets the Plan
Exercises and safe range-of-motion limits are prescribed in the clinician portal, for each patient’s condition and stage of recovery.
The Patient Exercises at Home
With the sensor on the limb, the app shows the live joint angle, sets, repetitions and coaching cues, and a 3D avatar shows each movement.
Motion Guard Checks Every Rep
Any movement outside the prescribed range is flagged as it happens. The patient can mark pain with one button.
The Doctor Follows Progress
Adherence is tracked week by week, with the count, size and time of any movement outside the safe range.
Every Repetition, Checked Live
The patient sees the angle, set and repetitions on their phone while the clinician watches the same exercise live, from the clinic.

What Each Part Does
Patient App
Live joint angle, sets, repetitions and coaching cues, with a button to mark pain.
Clinician Portal
The doctor prescribes safe range-of-motion limits and follows adherence week by week.
Motion Guard
Live orientation and range of motion in degrees, charted across the session, with a clear safe-movement status.
Live 3D Avatar
Shows the patient how each movement should look, so home exercise matches the prescription.
Recovery That Keeps Going Between Visits
Why Home Exercise Goes Wrong
Orthopaedic recovery depends on consistent, correctly performed exercise, but most patients cannot see a physiotherapist every day. Unsupervised exercise done the wrong way slows recovery or risks re-injury.
Who It Serves
Patients after surgery or injury keep up their daily exercise without daily travel. Physiotherapists prescribe, configure and monitor remotely. Clinics gain a rehabilitation service inside the same system as their scheduling and billing, through ClinicIQ.
Where It Came From
Mei Reco grew out of the Sports Performance Band’s motion-sensing work. Its Motion Guard monitoring also runs inside ClinicIQ, so rehabilitation sessions, scheduling and billing meet in one place.
Roadmap
Planned, not yet in the current device.
A slim companion version: a thin variant that records the session and syncs later, with its own charging unit.
Guided movement control: in a later stage, letting the clinician steer and correct the limb through the prescribed range in real time.
