Industrial AI

AI camera systems that count and inspect items on a production line, and weighing and sorting conveyors that check and route every item, running on site without the cloud.

What is Industrial AI at Lenor Ventures?

Industrial AI at Lenor Ventures brings computer vision and automation to production lines: AI camera systems that count and inspect items as they pass, and weighing and sorting conveyor systems that check every item and route it by result. Each system runs on site, without the cloud, and is designed around the line after a site visit.

What Industrial AI Can Do on Your Line

Two kinds of system, used on their own or together on one line.

Two Systems, Built Separately

AI Camera Systems

Cameras mounted over the line capture each crate or item, and an AI model trained on your products counts and inspects what it sees. Nothing touches the product, so the camera system suits lines where items must not be handled.

Weighing and Sorting Conveyors

Load cells built into a conveyor section weigh each item as it moves. The conveyor then acts on the result, rejecting an item that is under or over weight or sending it to the right lane. This is a mechanical and electronic system, built for the line’s speed and the weight of what it carries.

Together on One Line

The two can work on the same line: cameras confirm what is there, and the weighing conveyor confirms how much it weighs. Each is useful on its own, so a plant can start with one and add the other.

Why It Runs Without the Cloud

A production line cannot stop because an internet connection drops. Both systems run at the plant, so checks continue during an outage and images of your line stay on your own premises.

Where It Applies

Anywhere items are counted, checked or weighed before they ship: dairy and food processing, beverages, packaged consumer goods, pharmaceutical packing, fresh produce grading and warehouse dispatch. We assess each line before we commit, because speed, lighting, packaging and weight all affect what a system can do reliably.

Example: Counting Milk Packets at a Dairy Unit

Our first application is an AI camera system for a local dairy unit. It counts the milk packets in every crate on the conveyor and flags a short crate before it is dispatched, so each crate leaves with a verified count. The system runs on site and is in development; results will be published once they are measured and approved.

How a Production-Line Project Runs

  1. Site Visit

We watch the line and note its speed, lighting, packaging, weights and where checks happen today.

  2. Trial on Your Line

We test the camera or weighing system on one section before a full installation.

  3. Install and Tune

The system runs alongside your current checks until its counts and weights agree.

  4. Hand Over

Supervisors see counts, weights and flagged items as they happen, with a record for every shift.

How Industrial AI Differs from Our Other AI Services

Industrial AI is built for physical operations, with cameras and equipment on your premises. For automating steps inside business software, such as approvals and data entry, see Automation and AI; for ready AI tools we run as a service, such as chatbots, document reading or sentiment analysis, see AI as a Service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the systems need an internet connection?

No. They run on site, at the plant, without the cloud.

What is the difference between the camera system and the weighing conveyor?

The camera system counts and inspects what it sees, without touching the product. The weighing conveyor weighs each item with load cells and rejects or sorts it by weight. They can run on their own or together on one line.

Can they work on lines other than dairy?

Yes. They can apply wherever items are counted, checked or weighed before they ship. We assess each line first, because speed, lighting, packaging and weight all affect the result.

What equipment does it need on the line?

Cameras and an on-site computer for the camera system; a weighing conveyor section with load cells and a reject or sorting mechanism for the weighing system. Exact hardware is chosen after the site visit.

Is the dairy system in use today?

It is in development for a local dairy unit. We will publish results once they are measured and approved.
